Arriving at the hotel, I found the hallway and the ice machine slightly lacking upkeep, and the bathroom had seen better days and had a musty smell. Despite the outdated decor, the room was spacious, and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. The cleanliness, however, was top-notch.
The hotel's location was very convenient for walking around Toledo and was close to the Huntington Center and Fifth Third Field. The rooms were nice and clean, but were not ready at check-in time, causing some inconvenience for our schedule. The service staff provided excellent customer service, although the hotel could use a bit of updating to feel more modern. The dining options were limited and overpriced, detracting from the overall value. The price for parking was reasonable, but additional fees for parking in the next-door garage were a drawback.
I was pleased with my stay at the hotel. The rooms, although a bit dated, were comfortable and offered a great view. However, the self-attached parking cost $10, which was unexpected, and the soundproofing was poor. The service was not effective in enhancing my stay, although some staff members were helpful. The location was convenient for accessing nearby attractions and dining options. The dining experience, although not complimentary, was fantastic, especially in the morning.
